We Are in Mesa

So yes this blog is a little over due. We have made it to Mesa. Me, my mom and the girls flew here on Aug. 31st and Matt and my brother headed out the same day and made it here the next day. Since we have made it here Matt has applied to a couple different law enforcement agencies and two are doing a background check right now so its only a matter of time. I have been trying to get everyone on a good schedule and back into routine... no happening at all lol but it's getting better. :) We went and walked around the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple the other night. I love being able to go to the temple and just sit on the grounds. The spirit I feel there is amazing. I am so glad its only five mins away. The last time we were at the Mesa Temple was August 11, 2007 the day our family got sealed together for time and all eternity.

Even though we are happy to be in Arizona we miss our friends too and are glad to know they are reading our Blog :) Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Quick Update

This has been a crazy two months we are barely all getting settled back into a routine and we are moving back to ARIZONA in TWO weeks. AHhhhh someday the craziness will end lol. This is what is going on right now.

Eliza has finally got her first ear infection and good thing I caught it early because we lose our insurance tomorrow :( She is a trooper though and has her moments of crankiness but hopefully the meds we got today will start helping her feel better. She is a bit sleepy in the picture from the meds :)

Leah is growing like a weed and the doc told us to give her rice cereal in my expressed milk at night just so I can get more than 45 mins of sleep at a time. She is well over 12 pounds and I think 24 inches now.

Matt started weight watchers with me a couple of weeks ago but he is the only one who seems to be holding strong. He has lost 38 pounds so far! I am so proud of him!!

and Laura.... I am finally not going CRAZY :P

Leah's 3 Week Update

Leah's new stats are 10 pounds and 22 inches.... I had a feeling she was going through a growth spurt since she was eating every 45 minutes :)
*Makes every contact for a few seconds at a nice.... and studies your face.
*Rolls over onto her Stomach
*Holds her head up for almost 30 seconds.
* My favorite(not) has reflux. :(

This last week has been really hard... I get about only Two hours of sleep a night. Matt goes back to work tomorrow so hopefully this growth spurt will be over soon!

Grandpa Player(Matt's Dad)

Bryan Ralph Player returned to his Heavenly Father June 30, 2009 after a brave struggle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF).

He was born August 17, 1953 in Murray, Utah to Mark Beazer Player and Eva Mae Adamson Player. He was survived by wife Becky Player, children Amy Player, Matt Player (Laura), Khara Petersen (Sam), Mark Player along with grand-daughter's Eliza and Leah Player and five sisters and one brother.

He married Rebecca Lees on December 20, 1978 in Salt Lake City, Utah and was later sealed to his wife and children for time and all eternity in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Salt Lake Temple on September 9, 1985.

Originally born and raised in Utah he moved to Alabama with a job transfer as an executive with Target a.s.s.. Diagnosed in May of 2006 with IPF he spent the next three years helping to raise awareness and find a treatment for the disease with his wife at his side. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. His word was his bond and he was the hardest worker no matter what he was doing. He always had a contagious sense of humor and could always make you laugh.

He will be missed greatly, but we know he is enjoying this time with his parents and daughter Katie who passed away shortly after her birth in 1985. We love him and will always remember him. Burial will take place at Wasatch Lawn in Salt Lake City Utah, where his body will be laid to rest next to his daughter Katie.

34 Week Check Up

Today we had our 34 week check up and I haven't gained any weight in the last two weeks! I was really excited to hear that. At our next appointment we are going to have an ultrasound to see how big the baby actually is. My doctor told us today that she is hoping I am going to go into labor naturally by the end of the month but if I don't then we are getting induced on June 29th. Time sure has flown by!!

Eliza's New Dress

I decided that I want to get really good at making dresses so I made another one lol. This one is for Fourth of July and I think I have enough Material left over to make a matching one for Leah when she comes. We'll see... I just have to figure out the sizing.

The Fabric Before I Got Started...

... The End Result!

32 Week Update

This last month has been full of fun... jk. My doctor got my heart beat on record at 205 beats per minute during one of my "episodes" so they referred me to a Cardiologist and after seeing her she decided that my resting heart beat at around 120-130 was too high for someone who is pregnant so.... she put me on a new medication and I had to wear a heart monitor for 21 days that was similar to the one I had to wear in high school.

Let me tell you wearing this thing 24 hours a day except when showering of course is irritating. They basically are made for the elderly and aren't really made for people who are pregnant with a two year old that runs around all day and constantly gets into stuff. Every time I bent over, lifted Eliza, and pretty much took a breath the wonderful thing would fall off. It's connected to a wire which splits into two and is connected to two Electrodes that you have to place on you left ribs under your chest and your right shoulder. The wire is so long that at night I would get tangled in them and constantly have to rearrange the wire. With my skin being so sensitive the Electrodes caused me to get a rash which looked like a miniature form of shingles lol but it only itched and there was no pain thankfully! I am so glad my 21 days is Up!! Well enough of the complaining... At my 30 week appointment I was measuring 39 cm which doesn't really surprise us because Eliza was big too. I have gained somewhere around 20 pounds (I don't keep track anymore :)and my pre-pregnancy pants are barely beginning to get tight. Our doctor is sending us at 36 weeks to see how big the baby actually is. 6 Weeks to go until June 29th when we are getting induced and I am going to be able to drop two of the four medicines I have to take multiple time a day yay!

Eliza Turned Two

Our little girl turned two today.. I can't believe how fast it has gone by. She is doing so well and impressing us all with all of the knowledge she is gaining! She is talking so much now and forming the funniest sentences. She has so an active imagination and loves playing mommy to her baby doll. She is going to be a great big sister!
